So in the end I figured out how to apply the armor, it needs to be in your sack and then you can add it either to your arms or legs. I also started working on Armadillo armor, it seems to be the best thing to use, until I figure out how to forge metals and make metal armor. I haven't come with the locals yet, but I have a feeling I'll be seeng them soo. That is why I have to prepare myself before I venture off.
