'Guardians of the Galaxy' Set Photos

If you weren't among the few fans at Comic Con or D23 who were treated to early footage of "Guardians of the Galaxy" and you're dying for a taste of what the upcoming Marvel movie is going to look like, you're in luck. Set photos from "Guardians of the Galaxy" hit the web, giving us a first look of what we're in for come August 1st, 2014. The pics were snapped in London, featuring background actors in alien make-up running up and down the Millennium Bridge as a helicopter circled above to film the action. At first glance, it appears none of the main cast were on hand for the day's shoot, but closer inspection revealed none other than Glenn Close on set in full Nova Prime makeup. As you can see, it's pretty amazing, she's barely recognizable! She was spotted among the crowd of aliens along with Nova Corps troops. Although shooting is about halfway done, up until this point production has stayed mainly indoors preventing photos like these from hitting the web. But now that we've got our first look at "Guardians of the Galaxy" are you on board with Marvel's vision?
