Guy Beahm: Dead Serious About Gaming -- by David Silverberg

I think Mr. Sark says it best in the clip I use -- "There's a lot of people that get it, a lot of people that don't get it, but Dr. Disrespect is fucking amazing." I watch a lot of gaming videos on YouTube, and when I first found Guy Beahm's creation, "Dr. Disrespect", I thought it was genius. As I say in this video...in my eyes, Guy was the first person to truly bring something new to an audience so use to seeing the same thing over and over again and accepting it. That's not to say he's better than anyone else, or everyone else's videos aren't up to par...I simply mean that I appreciate his unique effort and, whether you enjoy Dr. Disrespect's content or not, I'd hope you all could appreciate it as well. Once we all found out that Guy Beahm would become Sledgehammer Games' community manager, that's when I told myself there's a real story here. To go from creating content as Dr. Disrespect, to be the first from this "YouTube gaming community" to actually work for a video game development studio (no less the one working on a CoD title) is an amazing achievement and for lack of a better word... is just really cool.
