Seven-year-old Owen Howkins used to be scared of strangers. But his dog has changed his life. Owen, who's from Basingstoke has a rare genetic condition and uses a wheelchair. A year ago the family adopted Haatchi who'd had his back leg and tail amputated after someone tied him to a railway line and he was hit by a train. But now the pair are the best of friends, and Haatchi has been nominated for an award at Crufts. Laura Trant has been to meet them.
