.hack MUTATION - Magus

( Warning: SPOILERS ) Phase 3: Magus, the Propagation Contains scenes, intro and the full battle! Party: Kite, BlackRose, Elk (all lv. 48?) This is the fourth of a series of videos featuring all the Phase and Cubia battles in the original four .hack games. Geez, you'd think Balmung or Helba would stick around and help out, rather than leave poor Kite and his pals to do all the dirty work. :( Magus requires a slightly different strategy compared to Skeith and Innis. Basically, Elk got put on heal duty as usual, but rather than have Kite and BlackRose bumrush Magus as is the usual process for Phase fights, BlackRose whacks away at him while Kite takes out the leaves. While Magus stops to regrow his leaves, I then issue a skills order to let everyone fling everything they've got, then repeat the process anew. What happens if you let the leaves hit 0? Party wipe. Go figure.
