OREO CRUST INGREDIENTS
22-24 Oreos
4 tbsp salted butter, melted
1/2 tsp salt
OREO CRUST RECIPE
1) grind or crush Oreos until crumbs
2) stir in melted butter
3) press into a 9 inch pie pan
4) bake crust for 6-7 minutes
5) cool crust completely before filling with ice cream mixture, about 20-30 minutes in the refrigerator
ICE CREAM PIE INGREDIENTS
Leftover Halloween Candy (10-15 trick'r'treat sized pieces)
Pumpkin Ice Cream (or any flavor)
Chopped pecans
ICE CREAM PIE RECIPE
1) Refrigerate candy (approx 10-15 mins)
2) Soften ice cream on counter (approx 5-10 mins)
3) Chop candy into small pieces
4) Fold candy into ice cream
5) Pour candy + ice cream mixture into pie-crusted pan
6) Smooth out with spatula
7) Press chopped pecans (or topping of choice) into top of ice cream pie
8) Place in freezer, Approximately 2-4 hours.
SALTED WHIPPED CREAM INGREDIENTS
1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
1/2 tsp. Salt
SALTED WHIPPED CREAM DIRECTIONS
1) Combine salt & heavy cream
2) Whip w/ hand mixer @ medium speed until it reaches "whipped cream" consistency (approx. 4-6 mins)
AND FINALLY
1) Remove pie from freezer + slice
2) Dollop salted whipped cream onto individual slices
3) Add sprinkles (if desired)
