This is World 1 - A of my remake. There are two marios, and you have to take them both to the goal.
I like a lot this mario cloning. They interact like in the multiplayer, but for the fireballs. However they are a bit glitchy:
- If the clone jumps on a Goomba, the non-clone will get the jump boost instead.
- If the clone grabs a shell, the shell will teleport to the non-clone and act as if the non-clone was carrying it, however the clone still does the carrying animation.
- If the mario hits a ? block, the power-up will vary in function of the state of the non-clone mario. If the clone is big and hits a ? block, it will get a mushroom if the non-clone is small.
You may wonder why at the end of the level there is only one mario?
If i brought the two marios to the flagpole, the non-clone teleported to the flagpole and the clone didnt grab it, it still walked around freely. And when the timer goes down to 0 to give the score, the non-clone died of lack of time before the non-clone won :D so it was impossible to win.
