Marco Polo (1254 – 1324) was an Italian merchant traveller from Venice whose travels are recorded in Livres des merveilles du monde.
The song is originally written and played by Harry Sacksioni in the early 80´s. This is a short cut; it starts with the bridge as a brief introduction and turns into the first section of the main theme which refers to his travels. M.Couzijn did an excellent job in approaching the original (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15ooJSzBa40 ).
