Blue Course 7.5 km 105 m climb Water is a significant feature throughout this event, given that longer courses run around the lake and through some of the marsh areas. A slowish start, with a minor error to #3, #5 was a major error. A fall on the way may have unsettled me (?excuse?)and I over ran and searched in a less dense area before reality struck. Controls 7-11 seemed simply circuit runs but that's not to say error free - #10 was almost an overshoot. #14 was a wobble, where I may have lost concentration racing another competitor, who may not have even been on my course! #20 was a minor error where I followed my route in to the control rather than cutting out SE. I left the run late-ish to take advantage of the forecast sunshine and was lucky to have the sun. Some wet feet today!
