[Heart to Heart] Ep.18 - Hwansan Sunim, the Harvard-educated Buddhist preacher of Seon meditation

A man who was born in the U.S. and majored in comparative study of religion at Harvard and psychology at NYU. A man who was hired by a big law firm and on the path to guaranteed success. But he suddenly decided to be ordained as a Buddhist monk after studying under Son Master Songdam in Korea. This is the story of Hwansan Sunim, who is training at Yonghwasa Temple in Incheon and working hard to spread Buddhist teachings to a wider audience. He spreads Son meditation methods by making numerous media appearances and giving talks at such places as the American veterans' hospitals, Facebook headquarters, and UC Berkeley.
