Using the impact tester to simulate a strong belly punch (for science!). It's kinda hard to tell but abs are flexed for the hit. The impact sled weighs about 10kg, total impact energy is about 150 joules. 100 joules is the typical value given for an average adult male's strongest punch, so this would be similar to a blow from a trained puncher. Although not well defined, the abs were in fairly good shape, I could do about 150 consecutive situps at the time of this video.
