I shudder at the thought because Singer/Songwriter Helen Rogers has the type of vocal sounds that one shouldn’t even think about living their life without hearing it! I’ve been spoiled by the sensuality of her voice from listening to her on Hardcastle’s music. But what has brought and captivated a wider audience of listeners into her web is the grooves from her latest solo album “Smooth Jazz Meets Reggae”. It’s an awesome compilation that’s packed with what is identified as “Helen’s jazz” …from smooth jazz funk… to jazzy grooves… to smooth reggae sounds, known as “lovers rock reggae”.
