[Hip Hop! Project] - Osaka Top Shotta

Dark Musume X??? This is a remix/mashup of "Osaka Koi no Uta" by Morning Musume versus "Top Shotter" by DMX featuring Mr. Vegas and Sean Paul. Hearing the former for the first time immediately reminded me of the latter due to the similar opening rhythms, so mixing them was just a natural move for me. The vocal sound quality might sound a bit iffy due to "Top Shotter" being a pain to extract vocals from, but the mashup idea was just too good to pass up...I also added a bit more "oomph" to the main drums. One might be initially shocked at such a seemingly dissonant combination, but the lyrics of both songs actually fit well together: "Osaka" is about the difficulties of keeping in touch over long distances, while "Top Shotter" is all about touching people from a distance...using guns.
