Home Made Segway Kickstand

The kickstand that Segway makes is expensive and easy to break. Here's a home made solution. All that's needed is some 1/2" copper tubing and a stainless steel bolt and locking nut. The arm of the stand folds back over the portion that's bolted to the existing gearbox bolts. Notice that portions of the copper tubing are hammered flat.
