Homeless in Titusville, Florida "Kim"

Meet 34-year-old Kim on the streets of Titusville, Florida. (Sorry the wind was blowing so hard. I did my best to screen the mic from the wind) She is an addict who supports her habit by selling her body. She has been on and off the streets for most of her adult life. She admits to hurting her family because of her substance abuse. She was forced to sign her children over to her parents because she has been unable to provide for them. Her parents have not let her see her children for a long time now because of her substance issue. She only got out of jail one week ago and says the first thing she did was get high the day of her release. She told me how she has been abused, robbed and worse by men. She says she doesn't want to keep going back to the streets selling herself and getting intoxicated but its' the only way of life she knows. She is in desperate need of a support system after she gets clean. Without the right support, I fear her life will never change.
