House Construction Part 3

The excavation continues and the first of the concrete pillars have been poured along the back wall. The architect put the downspouts inside the pillars and will be directing the rain water into a cistern. Some of the rebar for the second floor has been put in place. Digging has been slow since they have to cut into the limestone bedrock to ensure a solid foundation that won't settle.
