How I diagnose and install a missing roller jewel, Waltham Crescent St. pocket watch

Thanks go out to Mike for the contribution to the cause. Balance moves real nice but pocket watch does not work. Missing roller jewel is the problem. Installed one and the watch now runs. Used shellac to hold jewel to roller table. The shellac is melted with heat from a flame. Heat is transferred from tool to part. Do not use direct flame. Another way to check the roller jewel on this watch is to remove the movement from the case and look from the side. I did not do it that way for this video because you the viewer would not see anything. Waltham, Model 1892, 18 size, open face, Crescent St., 21 jewels. This video performed by an amateur.
