How to create a Running Total YTD using Microsoft Power BI

In this video we take a look at a common problem faced by businesses that deal with financial data; having a model that uses the end of the financial year for date logic. We show you how to create a measure that will correctly calculate a running total Financial Year to Date. We also take a look at some of the new Power BI Desktop features such as Quick Measures, Table formatting with Data Bars and Colour Scales and the ability to re-size visuals with the Responsive Visual feature.
