I don’t remember big lips being a thing when I was a teenager. Just like I didn’t know what celulite was until I got into high school. However I was a huge fan ( like most of my friends back then ) of J Lo’s makeup ! I was not necessarily obsessed with her as an artist, I mean her music is good, she’s a beautiful woman, but I was more into the way she did her makeup! I remember clearly when I was waiting in front of my TY, on MTV channel to see “If you had my love” just one more time to I can literally not even breath while I was watching her! I thought the makeup was spectacular! She’s one of the first women on TV that was using makeup in this stronger, but yet really sexy way ! It was in her videoclips where I’ve first saw the extreme over lining of the lips that totally blew me away! Now we have 45690 video tutorials on how to achieve that with makeup or fillers. I’ll talk about the first option today. It’s not everybody’s cup of tea. But what if you wanna try it one day? Well I’m here to guide you! Although the video is really showing you everything you have to do, let me add just a few more infos for you: 1. This technique works for most lip shapes, don’t think that if you have MUCH smaller lips you can’t do it. 2. It looks natural if you don’t go overboard with the color of your lip liner. If you’re fair skin tone, don’t use a very dark lip liner else it might look like you have a mustache. 3. it works amazing if you apply matte lipstick first, then lipgloss, I’m just so over matte lipsticks I can’t… 4. Have patience! Give yourself time! Allow yourself to know everything about your face! In time you will know and understand your face so much better. But give it time. That’s all, ladies.
