In this video I show you how to make a coffee scrub using FREE Starbucks coffee.
**PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS**
I'm wearing a bathing suit in the shower because I'm filming and I always use a scrub on my thighs and bum to improve the texture and some other scrubs don't seems to be as good to be honest.
I am pregnant, hence the bump :) you can follow my pregnancy journey through my videos.
Coffee grounds gently exfoliate the skin and as they're natural they will easily decompose unlike the plastic beads lots of big brands use.
The smell is uplifting so perfect for morning time.
Ask at a Starbucks counter for any coffee grounds, it's essentially a waste product form the coffee so they can't re-use them so are often more than happy to give them away. Many people use them for their garden as a fertiliser.
Filtered coffee isn't the same!
Use coconut oil, olive or almond oil to create a paste which is easy to apply and also makes skin feel incredibly moisturised after the shower.
Rinse throughly and to be safe pour hot water down the plug hole so that the mixture doesn't build up, also if you use coconut oil in the cooler months it may solidify again so always flush with a hot water.
Caffeine is said to help with cellulite but there's no solid research to say it does, if anything the exfoliation and massage from rubbing into the skin will stimulate the blood flow and improve circulation, in turn helping the appearance of the skin.
