Sometimes you gotta think "in the box." Here's an easy way to make a very low-cost floor stand/rack for up to two stand-up paddleboards or surfboards using easy to find, snap together plastic shelving that you can buy from a variety of places, including Home Depot and Lowes. Shelving unit used in this video: -- 56" high unit -- 36" wide shelves. This is very important because they will fit paddleboards up to 31" wide. If you have a wider board, you'll need 42" shelves. -- Shelves 18" deep. 16" would also work. Want this depth for stability. You'll need a tape measure and scissors or knife to cut foam padding. No other tools needed. Everything snaps together in 60 seconds or less.
