http://www.kaseycrafts.com This is a tutorial on how to make your own Flower Ribbon Bookmark using patterned grosgrain ribbons. This flower grosgrain ribbon bookmark is made by using blue, pink, white and butterflies patterned grosgrain ribbons. This flower ribbon bookmark is designed for adults as well as kids as it is very easy to make. The body of the bookmark is made of hard wooden tongue stick which gives the grosgrain ribbon bookmark a very strong support. It is easy to handle and it will not fold like paper bookmarks. To decorate the body of the bookmark (stem of flower), we have selected one of our 1 inch (25mm) patterned grosgrain ribbon, pink base with lovely blue, pink and white butterflies pattern. As for the flower petals, we will use the similar color range of pink, blue and white grosgrain ribbons to stick them onto the flower stem (bookmark body). Last but not least, we have chosen two lovely heart-shape embellishments to decorate the center of the flower (stigma). For adults, you may use hot glue guns instead of double-sided tape to stick the flower petals onto the body of bookmark. For kids without hot glue guns, you can use double-sided tape to do the job.
