Flags i got from ace hardware the metal flags rod were about 21 inches and i got maybe 150 for $7.39. i measure the length I wanted cut with a dremel tool and sharpen on a bench grinder. I mades 7 inches and 8 inches. Also heated the rods to try to make them alittle harder
