In this video i show you how to make my creamy Cauliflower Cheese the simple quick way perfect for any occasion!.
Full Ingredients:
1 large cauliflower
(leaves cut off), broken into pieces
500ml milk
4 tbsp flour
50g butter
100g strong cheddar, grated
Full Written Recipe:
- Break apart the cauliflower, wash, place in a pan of cold water and boil for 15 minutes.
- Once the Cauliflower are soft, drain and place in an oven proof dish. set aside while we make the creamy cheesy sauce :D
- To a pan on low heat, melt the butter. Once the butter has all melted add the flour and whisk for 10 minutes on a low heat to cook the flour.
- After 10 minutes, slowly add the milk whisking everytime you add more milk to avoid any lumps.
- Once you have added all the milk, add the Cheese and whisk until this is melted and smooth.
- Add salt to taste and pour the sauce over the cauliflower making sure every little floret is coated with cheesy goodness.
- Place in the oven for around 20-30 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy on a 250C/482F temperature.
