Wonton soup is a traditional Chinese cuisine. This dish can be eaten as a soup on its own or with noodles base for a full blow meal. Wonton is made with minced meat or seafood and wrapped in thin wheat pastry. Although it’s one of my favourites food, I do not sale wontons in my shop. This dish takes too long to make for a take away and is best consume fresh.
Below is my recipe for you guys to try out. I am sure you’ll love it!
Ingredients:
250g minced pork
100g raw king prawns
50g sour bamboo
20g carrots
1 spring onion
10g ginger
Condiments:
Half teaspoon salt
Half teaspoon MSG
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Quarter teaspoon white pepper powder
1 teaspoon potato starch
Soup
250ml water
Quarter teaspoon salt
Quarter teaspoon MSG
Dash white pepper powder
Dash sesame oil
*For spicy version add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 1 tablespoon of chilli oil.
