When you have scratches in your bathroom pottery such as your basin or toilet the following two methods will help you to remove the scratches. The following methods aren't always guaranteed to work if the scratch is too deep or it is a poor quality bathroom suite, but they are always worth giving a try before going to the expense of replacing the items. Step 2 Rub the scratch in a circular motion, until the scratch has gone this may take up to 5 minutes. Step 3 Clean the basin with a dry cloth. NB. If the scratch isn't removed using this method try method 2. Method 2 Materials Wire Wool & Soldering Flux Step 1 Dip the end of the Wire Wool in the Soldering Flux and coat liberally.
