We will see how to make a complete selection of an e-SV pump
Let's enter in Xylect with our account
Here we have three ways to make our selection (the final results will be the same in any case)
Let's start with quick product search. We use this selection when we know the name of the pump we need.
We write the name of the pump in the string called "search key"
We then define the duty point in the following strings and clicking on the enter button of our keyboard or the search button in the screen, the program will select a group of pumps accordingly to the given input.
We click on "home" and return to see the other two ways
We can make a selection by application.
We have several options such commercial buildings, residential, industry and agriculture.
We choose e-SV, put the duty point and click on the "enter" button of our keyboard or the search button in the screen
[Let's return to home to see the last selection way]
Finally we can have a selection by "product type"
We choose e-SV, insert the duty point and click on the enter button of our keyboard or the "search button" in the screen
We see a screen with all pumps selected by the program according to the duty point
For each pump are highlighted its most important features
And if you click on "e button" you can see a description of the pump
On the graphic of the performance curve, we have four option buttons, with which we can modify the output of the curve
Now we'll see two of them
With this option we can create a second duty point to be shown in the curve
Instead with this option which is the Button for the variable frequency driver you can see on the screen the different curves according to different frequencies of the motor
On the right is shown the standard configuration of the pump, with motor and materials.
The program will modify in automatic the feature of the pump, according to the configuration that will be select. This is to offer the best performance of the curve
On the left are present other information regarding the pump:
-We can see the hydraulic curves of the pumps that the program selected for you according to the duty point
-The dimensions
-A depth description of the pump
-A depth description of the materials
-Motor Data
-Data sheet
-When available, it's possible to download the 2D-3D drawings of the pump
You can also have other information consulting the pdf attachments
Finally you can see an example of mounting e-SV opening the video e-SV Mechanical Seal Replacement
Once you have selected the pump, you can choose which accessory insert in your selection.
On the left you see all the type of the accessories usable for the chosen pump; on the right the accessory for each type
And in the lower left you have the information about the select accessory
Now, if the pump it's ok for our use, we can click on finish button
We return in the home page
We see in the center of the screen our selection with the name of the selected product
We can make final changes to our selection
Clicking on Edit items we can modify the quantity
It's also possible to save the project and decide in which extension exported it
This option is possible only for registered user
We can see all the our saved projects
Then, clicking on Print, we can decide which curve to show in the graph of the performance curve and which page of the Data Sheet we would like to print
Our selection is complete!!
Sincerely, the Xylect Team
