I tend to check if my TV's, router, phones, and etc have firmware updates (quite often). Just happened to search Insignia's website and see that my Daughter's TV has a firmware update.
Click this link: http://bit.ly/16jCzVP and go to Downloads. Then choose the firmware. I had Rev B. (It will say on the back of your TV)
When you click "Audio Update Rev B" (for example), it's a ZIP. Take those files (there are several of them) and put them on a FAT32 flash drive. Make sure they are not in a folder. Meaning, the moment you open the flash drive (under My Computer), you should see several files and NOT a folder.
If it's not FAT32, Go to "My Computer", right click on the Flash Drive, and choose FORMAT. Then choose FAT32 from the drop down list, and choose Default for the "Allocation unit size". Leave "Quick Format" checked, and hit start! Then when it's done, extract all the files from that zip onto the flash drives root directory.
