Huntington's Disease -- RTÉ's Morning Edition

Huntington's disease is a devastating genetic neurological disorder that effects up to 750 people here in Ireland. Yet we have no specialist clinics for the condition. In Scotland with a similar population they have nine such clinics. It's Huntington's awareness week and sufferers, families and clinicians are now calling on the Government for better services. RTE's Morning Edition presenter Keelin Shanley speaks to consultant neurologist Dr Niall Pender and Siobhan and Frankie Lundy tells her what the disease means on a day to day basis.
