On the way, they pick up a Blue Rock Salt and a January Cabbage on the World Map. In town, Endir, Setsuna, and Aeterna are welcomed by the Magic Consortium member that had shared the ship with them. He tells them that there is a cavern that can take them to Floneia Citadel, and the Captain of Purikka can unlock the gate for them. He also suggests that the party use his services, and the services of the local Chef, Apothecary, and a Blacksmith. Taking the advice of the Magic Consortium Member, Endir sells all of the monster materials obtained up to this point and purchases Aura, Lightning, Protect, and Physical Pride Spritnites. The party then obtains a Hailbean, and turns in some ingredients to the Ever-Hungry Man for a Hailbean Stew and a Satisfying Stew Recipe. Turning in some more ingredients to an Irritated-Looking Waitress, the party also obtains a Purikka Cobbler Salad and a Scrumptious Salad Recipe. A nearby Chef accepts the recipes and puts it on his menu for the party to buy. After buying a couple more provisions, the party visits Weppy and Talli's and learns about Fluxation and Support Fluxation. They then purchase an Antipode Dagger for Aeterna and buy every Talisman available. Equipping talismans with Flux Bonuses, giving Aeterna her upgraded weapon, and attaching Spritnites, the party heads to the Captain's cabin. Here they find a chest with 5 Ethers and then meet Captain Freyja. Freyja is hesitant to open the Frost Caverns, especially for such a small Sacrifice Guard. She tells the party that she's been training a small resistance force to help drive back the monsters, and that they must pick a member of the resistance to add to their party. Freyja says that she will unlock the Frost Cavern once they have done this. Heading to the center of the town, the party meets the three resistance members, who are all young males, and test their abilities in battle. Ender, Setsuna, and Aeterna destroy all three of them in a very one-sided fight.
