i3-8100 vs i7-7700HQ - Laptop CPU Comparison and Benchmarks

Intel recently released their 8th generation of Coffee Lake CPUs, and although we’re currently waiting on the mobile chips, you can get laptops with the desktop CPUs. I’ve got a laptop with Intel’s i3 8100 CPU, which has 4 cores potentially making it a great option. How well does it compare against the classic 7700HQ?
