IAA Press Conference 2019

The focus of our press conference at the IAA 2019 was on the premiere of the EDAG CityBot, a multi-functional vehicle that travels autonomously through cities around the clock, and counteracts traffic congestion. With its numerous rucksack and trailer modules the EDAG CityBot can be configured to meet the needs of the city and its residents, and can be used, for instance, for passenger and goods transport, for city cleaning services, park maintenance, as a parcel station or a supermarket. In addition to the EDAG CityBot, we are also presenting eleven of our innovation impulses from the fields of digitalisation, integral security, electrification, 3D printing and lightweight materials on the Walk of Innovations. An additional highlight of our appearance at the IAA this year is our new corporate design, which emphasises the close cooperation between our three business segments - EDAG Vehicle Engineering, EDAG BFFT Electronics and EDAG Production Solutions - and now creates an optical link between them, while also showing what the EDAG Group is – namely YOUR GLOBAL MOBILITY ENGINEERING EXPERTS.
