Immigration detainees at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma, Wash. are participating in a hunger strike. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say about 330 of approximately 1,300 detainees have refused food since Friday, though up to 750 detainees participated at one point. The immigrants housed at the facility are facing deportation, and are protesting ongoing deportations and inhumane conditions at the for-profit center. RT's Meghan Lopez takes a closer look at the hunger strike at the facility owned by government contractor GEO Group Inc.
