My first food war: Timestamp 00:12:45 We found ourselves at war with the Bosporan Kingdom via a strange trigger when we made a subject out of the Maeotian revolt (not that we wouldn't have DOW'ed anyway): So we made peace with Scythia hoping to get back to the double "appeasement stance" peace bonus. Unfortunately Maeotia (one of Scythia's allies) degenerated into a civil war while we were fighting with them and now we find ourselves still at war with them even after making peace with the warleader. They wouldn't agree to a white peace, so we sieged one of their forts and received a 33 warscore. This made them agreeable to peace, and I figured why not take them as a tributary? When they became a tributary they triggered The Bosporan Kingdom and I found myself at war with them. The good news is the diplomats at large deemed it a defensive war and we burned the double peacetime AE appeasement bonus down even while at war with the Bosporans (who we intended to annex anyway but not exactly right now).
