IN CONTROL Study (Girls With Fragile X)

The IN CONTROL study is a research study taking place at the School of Psychology, Queen's University Belfast. The IN CONTROL (Identifying Contexts that Negatively Impact on the Regulation of Life) study is aiming to understand how particular brain processes help to manage behaviours and emotions, which can negatively impact children and families. We want to examine situations that we think are relevant for difficult behaviour. Specifically, we are interested in situations when a child is disappointed, when he/she feels unfairly treated, criticised or that he/she has failed at something.
