Ashley Dawn Lanfair-Stierwalt, 22, Martinsville, passed away at her residence on Monday, February 13, 2012. She was born on Tuesday, January 9, 1990 in Martinsville, Indiana. Ashley was a 2008 graduate of Martinsville High School. After the death of her daughter, Jayda, she started and was very passionate about Jayda's Teddy Bear Foundation which would donate teddy bears to the Riley Children's Hospital. Survivors are her daughter, Joslynn Christine Garber of Martinsville; mother and stepfather, Christina (Lanfair) and Andrew Urban of Martinsville; father, Roy Stierwalt; sisters, Morgan Lanfair-Stierwalt and Tabitha Kane both of Martinsville; brothers, Christopher Sexton, Dustin Lamar, Brandon Grindstaff, Josh Kane and Joey Atwood-Urban all of Martinsville, Seth Farris of Saint Petersburg, Florida; grandparents, Ron and Brenda Lanfair, Kim and Shirley Martin and Ronnie and Mae Bush all of Martinsville, Paul Urban of Indianapolis; fiancée, Justin Hacker-Robinson of Martinsville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jayda Leigh Bowman. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Costin Funeral Chapel with Rev. Pat Davis officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Costin Funeral Chapel and on Friday one hour prior to the funeral services. MARTINSVILLE — Jayda Leigh Bowman, 1, of Martinsville, died Friday at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 31, 2008, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ashley D. Lanfair and Duane W. Bowman, both of Martinsville. Survivors include her parents; grandparents, Christina and Andrew Urban, of Martinsville, and Vanessa and Jim Hamman, of Cookeville, Tenn.; great-grandparents, Brenda and Ronald "Spanky" Lanfair, and Kim and Shirley Martin, all of Martinsville, and Marylin and Dallas Bowman, of Paragon. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Costin Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lannie Stecher officiating. Burial will be at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to service Tuesday at the funeral home.
