Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak - Trout

A collaboration of the Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak Company with the Kitchen Orchestra. Co-production of Stavanger 2008. "Absurd magic on water"- Impressive mix of dance from Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak and music from Stavanger's Kitchen Orchestra - an experimental group of Norwegian musicians. Humor is never far away. The stage floor has been replaced by a square pool, where the water reaches just a couple of centimetres high. A vocalist Stine Janvin Motand is presented as an aristocratic, cool woman, wrapped in noble clothing - a dress fit for a princess. She is the contrast to the dancers - a group of suservient characters, some with bent backs and spastic behaviours. They wriggle through the water, bang against the walls and cover them with chalk and cries for help.
