Injustice 2: No Mortal Kombat DLC Characters For "Fighter Pack 3" CONFIRMED By Ed Boon! Mortal Kombat guest characters in Injustice 2 are finished according to NetherRealm Studios' head himself, Ed Boon! Just earlier today on Twitter, Ed Boon came out and confirmed that the upcoming Fighter Pack 3 DLC for Injustice 2 will not have a Mortal Kombat character added into the mix of things. Personally, I'm not surprised that this is the case whatsoever. Especially when you consider all of the fan backlash once it was revealed that Raiden would be a character inside of the highly anticipated Fighter Pack 2 DLC! However, this still does leave the door open for Guest Characters in the game, just not Mortal Kombat characters. It was speculated for a while now that Johnny Cage might have had a chance if we considered a voting poll from last year which held him in second place to Sub-Zero, but ahead of future DLC character, Raiden. With Boon coming out and making this statement, it's safe to assume Johnny Cage just isn't going to be making the final cut! Anyways, what do you all think of this?
