#veloworthy #sbtgrvl In one of the most anticipated gravel events of the year, the SBT GRVL event in Steamboat Springs Colorado had beautiful scenery, top riders and plenty of action. Prior to the event, we headed to Moots and got to see firsthand where and how some of the best titanium bikes are made. The factory was giving tours and allowing people to access the facilities during the race. The next day the race started at 6:30am to cold temps. Riders lined up early in order to get a decent starting position. There were plenty of gravel stars but no call ups and men and women started together. The race started and stayed like a road race with a large peloton for almost half of the race. It didn't start separating until the climbs started to happen. While it the race wasn't overly technical, the distance, altitude and heat were all big factors for the day.
