Insufficient funding challenging the execution of Vision 2030

Insufficient funding and delays in the execution of projects are some of the challenges facing the execution of Vision 2030 projects. A ten year score card on the blueprint shows that though Kenya has scored big on infrastructure and reform areas, the country lags behind in the social and political pillars. Vision 2030 delivery board chair James Mwangi says the board will focus on deepening engagements with the private sector and international partners to accelerate some of the projects.
