It is undeniable that all motor vehicles have become the 5th reqquisite and a key mechanism for our daily iife. Back to the dawn of early development no one believed a group of one's thoughts would be together with collaboration from all sectors and confidence in this group's capablility lead to accomplishment. Many concepts of automotive industry have been created and developed; incessantly into new automotive innovation which lead to the operation of THAILAND AUTOMOTIVE INSTITUTE (TAI) TAI is the independent institure which established by the cabinet resonlution on July 7 , 1998 with the order of Ministry of Industry in the same year on Septempber 14. The TAI's mission is to develop in Thailand automotive industry. Since establishment of TAI our roles have been driven development's direction into sustainable development and taken responsibility in preparing all 3 issues of master plan for automotive industry. This is not only urging the Detroit of Asia project but also supporting the Eco-car production base project as well. As a consequenece there is preparation of master plan for automotive industry (3) 2012-2016 by the proposed objective for year 2021 that with strong domestic supply chains which create high value added for the country. Our non-stop stepping forward takes Thailand automotive industry into the best with pride. Over 15 years with adherence to the purpose of being advancement TAI will innovate and develop new things for being the leader of the World.
