It Is A Thing Most Wonderful (Tune - Herongate) 3-verses

Richard Shireby plays the 1877 Conacher tracker action pipe organ that is now finished after restoration in our organ building workshop. This recording was to test a new mega quality valved (Tubed) microphone pre-amplifier to improve mike gain, frequency response, noise & dynamic range. We use a pair of Sure SM57 balanced microphones in these workshop recording. The picture comes via sony cameras in the workshop CCTV system through a panasonic digital video mixer. The audio & video signals are then recorded on a Sony HD recorder.
