Jai Aquarian & Erin Macri - Yes I AM

Jai' Aquarian is a Vancouver-based innovator, community organizer and spoken word artist. He has been a core organizer in community building events such as Vancouver's "Car Free Commercial Drive Festival" and has been heavily involved in coordinating and delivering transformative personal growth workshops and retreats. Erin Macri is a physical therapist pursuing a PhD in experimental medicine at UBC. What they have in common is a fundamental drive towards serving their communities and inspiring people to explore their potential. This drive led them both to the middle of a barren desert, on an epic quest for meaning. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
