Japanese Style 3D Acrylic Bow on a One Bead Application Ballerina Nail

Hi Everybody In this video, I am going to show you how to create a Japanese style 3D Acrylic Bow. These Bows are beautiful and OMG are they chunky (in a good way). I love the large loops, they make me feel all cosy. Firstly I am going to sculpt out a perfect Ballerina Nail, and add some beautiful shimmer gel polish to make it the perfect base for our 3D bow There is a technique to this. You need to plan it well, I like to use the backing from a sculpting form, it's great because the acrylic just peels off the shiny side. I also like to mark out the size and shape on the backing form, this way I have a template for the acrylic. I know how big it's going to be and if I have the right dimensions. This design requires me to do the bottom loops first, which is the opposite to when I do a regular 3D Acrylic bow. Once I have attached the bottom loops I can work out how wide to make the top loops, again by using the backing form to measure the width of the loops. then I double it because the top loops flow in the opposite direction. It all fits together nicely with the middle part of the bow, which wraps around all of the loops to make it one single piece.
