Korean Air's B747-8I(Intercontinental)Information: Korean Air Became the 3rd Operator after Lufthansa and Air China to Acquire this Prestigious State of the Art Aircraft as the Airline took Delivery of its First B747-8I(Intercontinental) Aircraft,Bearing the Registration # HL7630, On August 25,2015 at Boeing's Flight Test Facility and Delivery Center which is located in the North Seattle Suburb of Everett, Washington. Then 8 Days Later on September 2,2015, Korean Air's First Inaugural Commercial Flight on the Boeing 747-8I (Intercontinental) Aircraft was actually flown from Seoul -Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea to Frankfurt - Rhein-Main Airport in Frankfurt, Germany as Flight KE905-Which became the Airline's First Revenue Service Passenger Flight on this Iconic State of the Art Aircraft. Korean Air ordered 10 Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental Jetliners to add to their fleet, With 5 of those Jetliners Currently Operating in Service and Another 5 are on back order, With an option to purchase 10 more. The Korean Air Livery: The Current Livery of Korean Air was unveiled and introduced on March 1,1984 and the Airline's name was changed from Korean Air Lines to Korean Air.
