Yes, the diamond shaped brushes can be considered to be 'on brand' for Jeffree, however they are UNORIGINAL and the opposite of iconic. I literally have a set of diamond handle brushes that I previously bought from Amazon last year. It's been done. When I see a new product come from Jeffree I have grown to expect uniqueness and cutting edge aesthetic. I may get some hate for this, but honestly these brushes feel like a 'slightly' upgraded version of a set from Amazon - with Jeffree's face and name on it... Don't get me wrong - I LOVE JEFFREE {I stan SO HARD and I buy shit tons of his products} - These brushes do the job, they are functional and cute - HOWEVER, I expected Jeffree to come out with a set that would BLOW ME AWAY, even if it's a collaboration. And these are merely mediocre with his gorgeous face printed on the cardboard slip they arrive in. Maybe he has bigger plans to release an iconic set in the future with his own brand and didn't want to upstage them in this collab? JEFFREE EXPLAIN PLEASE. *DISCLAIMER* 7:02 I briefly put the Amazon brushes in the Jeffree eye corner but did not do enough to affect the lay or blend of the shadow - I was in the zone ? my bad.
