Jeffrey Eugenides: Just Add German VIP Interview

Jeffrey Eugenides is not just a Professor of Creative Writing at Princeton University, but also a Pulitzer Prize-Winning author. Parts of his book Middlesex are set in Berlin. He was offered to come and live in Berlin, really liked it and ended up staying there for five years. He even took a class at the Goethe-Institut! His favorite German word is ‘Dunkelheit’ which means ‘darkness’. He always has a synesthetic feeling about that word.
