Jimnah Mbaru is a popular name in Kenya's investment circles. The man's wealth is estimated in the billions and his name features in the country's top 100 wealthiest individuals. He began investing at the Nairobi Stock Exchange, NSE as a 2nd year university student but went on to form a bank, a mortgage company and what he is most popularly known for, the Dyer And Blair Investment bank. He is also a founder member of the Transcentury group, arguably the country's wealthiest investment group and sits on up to ten boards.
