K-Wing XNA Game

This game was developed by a team of five students for the Software Engineering Project course at Kansas State University. We developed this game using Microsoft's XNA 3.1 framework during the course of a semester. Beyond just creating the game, we also went through a detailed, multi-phase software development process, documenting our progress as we went. I was project leader, and I also designed and provided all of the art, animation, sound and music for the game, as well as doing my fair share of the coding. The main character for the game is a stylized version of K-State's mascot Willie the Wildcat. The boss at the end of each level is a giant robot Jayhawk from the University of Kansas. He gets more damaged and angrier in each encounter, culminating in the final level where he is just ridiculous. You can see that even I didn't make it at the end because of that insane attack he does. The other enemy sprites off are based off of other Big 12 school mascots.
