K2 For Joomla 003 : Change/enable Default CSS Setting & Front End Item Setting
У вашего броузера проблема в совместимости с HTML5
In this K2 tutorial am going to show you how the K2 default CSS setting and front end item setting works. In the last video, I have told you how to create your first item, Category, Tag and menu linking to the new item in K2 Joomla 3.
So let's see how the K2 default CSS setting and front end item setting works its k2 parameter and it allows you to toggle whether or not to include a default CSS file.
--------------------
follow the steps:
--------------------
Step1: firstly login into your Joomla admin panel.
Step2. And in Joomla admin panel click components from the top menu and then k2. in the top right of the page, you will see a parameters button go ahead and click on that.
Step3. and there you will see few tabs at the top make sure you are on layout and views tab.here are the CSS and javascript setting the first setting k2 default CSS setting it showing description as the option will load the built-in CSS styling that comes with k2 by default.
If you are using a Joomla template which support k2 style you may have to disable this option to apply your Joomla template CSS styling to the k2 component modules and
This setting is enabled so what does this mean basically it means that this setting is enabled its gonna load a CSS file from k2 that's gonna make your k2 elements look like they should but your Joomla template already has those CSS styles built in for k2 then you want to disable this feature so your templates CSS will take precedence.so this setting is enabled by default.
If you view the source code for this page and search for k2 you will get to CSS reference k2.css and k2.js (javascript file)
Now go to Joomla dashboard and here if we disable this setting and click save let's go back to the first item on Joomla site and here again view source code for item 1 and search for k2 you will notice that there is only one reference file present k2.js we were missing the k2.
CSS reference file so that's what this setting does. Now if we compare the pages with and without CSS
Again enable the CSS setting to see the original version and refresh the Joomla site page okay so what you are looking at now is with the CSS setting enabled it is including the k2 CSS file and it's normal this is what it's supposed to look like.
And if we disabled the setting you will see the difference you can see here for example rate this item has 1 through 5.
If you remove the CSS they are just gonna be listed vertical.and on the enabled page you will see the page look nice than the other.
Now let's see how we can use front end item setting using this setting we can hide or disable our item title.
so, from Joomla control panel go to component then go to the k2 select item then select the item for which you are going to do this setting then choose display settings tab scroll down to item view option and hide your item title using show button. in the next video, I will show you how to create our first item or Blog in k2 Joomla.
